So delighted to be accepted into the RA Summer Exhibition for the third time.
Yesterday was Varnishing Day - what a fabulous experience - arriving to meet in the RA Courtyard with Steel Band playing which we followed to the Church for the Artists Service then back to see the show for the first time. My linocut "Rise of Female Artists" is a linocut printed onto canvas and mounted on board - its 5 feet long. Great to meet up with some old artist friends and to meet new ones.
Coordinated by Yinko Shonibare titled "Reclaiming Magic" - I think he has achieved the title - well done team I think it's a joyful exhibition.
