Exhibition at Ropewalk Extended 3 weeks

I am delighted to say my Lifetime of Printmaking Exhibition at the lovely Ropewalk in Barton On Humber has been extended for 3 weeks so is now on until 24th March I was there at the weekend pleased to see the sales including the one below "Pine Woods" If you plan to visit there is lots to see in the Ropewalk. There more exhibitions -, a tasty cafe and the display showing some of its past history. Unfortunately I have had to make the decision to increase my prices from 1st April It is at least 5 years since I have increased prices and in that time materials have had huge increases especially with framing. I hope you will agree that they will still be reasonably priced for the huge amount of work that goes into each one.

Lake at Hever Castle...

Here is a brief process of the linocut I created back in my studio of the Lake at Hever Castle - bigger than the one I created on Landscape Artist of the Year (below) and took a lot longer! I get busy working and forget to take more photos but hopefully this will show some of the process - it's a reduction linocut. I use a registration sheet to get the print placed right on the paper for the first inking. After that I place the lino by eye on top of the previously printed layer - if you can...
